Padmount inverter transformers and Collector Transformer

Fourth Generation Padmount Inverter transformers supplied with no stray gassing. Stray Gassing is a worldwide phenomenon for this transformer application associated with wind generation. ACTOM supplied four transformers for BESS Skaapvlei project located at Koekenaap, Matzikama District Municipality, Vredendal, Western Cape, South Africa. These transformers are supplied to form part of the project to provide a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a minimum of 80MW/320 MWh of usable capacity and energy.
