Engineering Design

Our design team is locally established in South Africa with an average of 30 years' design experience and is equipped with globally leading design analysis software. Through our experience, we have developed strong engineering partnerships with internationally renowned transformer specialists.

Manufacturing Capability

Our robust supply chain management allows for the design and fabrication of tanks on site. We have two standalone test bays equipped for testing to IEC 60076 standards. Our fully integrated manufacturing capabilities encompass:

Delivery, Assembly, Commissioning

We transport to site, including across the border into Africa, with in-transit detection of impact on transformers. A sweep frequency response analysis is done at the factory and again at site to demonstrate transformer condition.

Once at site, the transformer is offloaded using specialist equipment and assembled, including the oil filling, by our delivery team. Professionals then conduct cold commissioning according to the site acceptance testing requirement, using our own equipment. For delivery in foreign countries, supervision of installation is provided.

Condition Monitoring

Service level agreements are provisioned to give clients access to online monitoring, and also to conduct proactive monitoring on the clients' behalf. Teams go on site to do basic maintenance, oil dissolved gas analysis with period sampling and lab analysis. Annual reporting is provided, derived from on-site visits and online data gathering.
